Helene has had a lifelong passion for movies and filmmaking. Some five-years ago, after surviving cancer, Helene made a commitment to pursue her dream of becoming actively involved in filmmaking. After establishing her own website, MoviesFilmedOnLongIsland.com, Helene had the opportunity to meet and work with several well-known Long Island independent filmmakers. That effort was the beginning of Helene’s dream, resulting in a number of production credits for movies filmed on Long Island, including one filmed in upstate New York.
Helene has been the Associate Producer of two movies, but her most rewarding production accomplishments were as the Executive Producer of “The Night Never Sleeps” and Co-Producer of “Send No Flowers,” both of which were filmed entirely on Long Island.
In addition to her production credits, Helene has also been the Set Photographer and Videographer for a number of films, and has received many compliments for capturing those special moments of a movie in production. Some of these movies include the following: “The Night Never Sleeps,” “Send No Flowers,” “My Cross to Bear,” “Bullifed,” “The Last Taxi Driver,” “Leaving,” and “The Man from the City.”

During the last five-years of living her dream, Helene has had the honor of meeting and working with a number of respected actors. Gannascoli (“The Sopranos” and “Mickey Blue Eyes”), Tony Lo Bianco (“The French Connection” and “The Juror”), Eric Roberts (“The Pope of Greenwich Village” and “The Dark Knight”), Gianni Russo (“The Godfather” and “The Godfather: Part II”), and Sean Young (“Blade Runner” and “No Way Out”).
